Do I need to download anything?
No. NetPeek is shipped to you preloaded on a USB flash drive — everything is already on it, including a bundled runtime. Plug the drive in and run the matching launcher for your operating system. There is no download version.
Does one licence really work on both Windows and Linux?
Yes. This is one licence that covers both platforms, and one USB flash drive with the software on it. The licence is tied to the USB drive, so it follows the stick — you can run the same drive on any Windows PC or Linux PC.
Is there a free trial?
NetPeek includes a 30-day free trial built into the drive. Because it is a physical product that ships to you, please note the refund policy: you can request a refund within 30 days before the licence is activated — once the licence is activated, or 30 days have passed since delivery, it cannot be returned.
Do I need admin rights?
No. NetPeek reads the operating system’s ARP table after a parallel ping sweep, so it needs no root or administrator privileges, no raw sockets and no Nmap. It just works on Windows 10/11 or a Debian-based Linux.
How do updates work?
Updates to the version you purchase are included. When you upgrade to the next version, current licence holders get a discount on the upgrade.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Vendor lookups come from a bundled offline database, so NetPeek can scan and identify devices with no internet connection at all.
