NetPeek — Local Network Scanner | Windows & Linux on one USB licence
Local Network Scanner for Windows & Linux

See every device on your network — and the ports that are open.

NetPeek lists every device on your network: IP address, MAC address, hardware vendor and hostname — then flags the open ports on each one and highlights unknown devices worth investigating. One licence, one USB flash drive, and it works on both Windows and Linux.

Why you need it

Take control of your network in one window

Whether you are an IT professional, run a small office, or simply want to know what is connected to your router, NetPeek turns a network you can’t see into a clear, readable list — devices, vendors and the ports they expose — with no admin rights and nothing to install.

How it works

Plug in, pick a scan, press Scan

Every device, clearly listed

Choose your network interface and NetPeek scans the subnet, listing every responding host with its IP address, MAC address, hardware vendor and hostname. Unknown devices — no vendor, no hostname — are flagged so you can investigate.

  • Offline vendor lookup from a bundled database
  • Easy to see Unknown devices
  • Optional open-port scan on each device

Ping, DNS, UDP and WiFi — in the same window

NetPeek isn’t just a device list. Ping any IP to check it responds, do a DNS lookup for any record type, scan a device for open UDP ports, and scan the WiFi networks available to you — all without juggling half a dozen tools.

  • Standard diagnostic ping
  • DNS lookup for any record type
  • UDP port scan, including a standard-ports check

What it does

A full network toolkit on one USB drive

Everything runs locally and needs no admin rights. One licence covers the same drive on a Windows PC or a Linux PC.

Scan IP subnetsEnter any CIDR — e.g. 192.168.1.0/24 — or leave blank for your local subnet.
Scan WiFi networksSee the wireless networks available to you.
Ping any IPThe standard diagnostic to check a device responds.
DNS lookupResolve any type of DNS record.
UDP port scanCheck standard UDP ports, or one specific port, on a device.
Export to CSVSave your scan results to a CSV you can open in any spreadsheet.
Offline vendor lookupMAC addresses mapped to manufacturers — works with no internet.
One licence, two platformsThe same USB drive runs on Windows and Linux.
No admin requiredA parallel ping sweep fills the OS ARP table, which NetPeek reads — no raw sockets, no Nmap, no root.

Questions & answers

Before you buy

Do I need to download anything?

No. NetPeek is shipped to you preloaded on a USB flash drive — everything is already on it, including a bundled runtime. Plug the drive in and run the matching launcher for your operating system. There is no download version.

Does one licence really work on both Windows and Linux?

Yes. This is one licence that covers both platforms, and one USB flash drive with the software on it. The licence is tied to the USB drive, so it follows the stick — you can run the same drive on any Windows PC or Linux PC.

Is there a free trial?

NetPeek includes a 30-day free trial built into the drive. Because it is a physical product that ships to you, please note the refund policy: you can request a refund within 30 days before the licence is activated — once the licence is activated, or 30 days have passed since delivery, it cannot be returned.

Do I need admin rights?

No. NetPeek reads the operating system’s ARP table after a parallel ping sweep, so it needs no root or administrator privileges, no raw sockets and no Nmap. It just works on Windows 10/11 or a Debian-based Linux.

How do updates work?

Updates to the version you purchase are included. When you upgrade to the next version, current licence holders get a discount on the upgrade.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Vendor lookups come from a bundled offline database, so NetPeek can scan and identify devices with no internet connection at all.

See your network for what it is

Know what’s connected — and what’s exposed.

Most people are surprised by how many devices are quietly on their network, and how many ports are open. NetPeek makes it visible in a few clicks — on one USB drive that works with both Windows and Linux.
