One click. A clean, printable A4 spec report for any PC.
PCAudit audits any PC in around 10 seconds and produces a clean, professional, single PDF you can save, print, or email straight to a customer. Processor, memory with full slot detail, storage, software, serial numbers and recent system-log errors — portable from a USB stick, with no install and nothing left behind. Built for repair shops, onsite engineers and corporate IT teams, from one USB flash drive and one licence that cover Windows and Linux.
Preloaded on a USB flash drive — nothing to download, nothing to install.
One USB stick, three very different jobs
The same drive and the same licence suit a repair bench, a van, or a corporate estate — because PCAudit installs nothing, leaves nothing behind, and produces the same clean A4 report every time.
Repair shops & service desks
Keep it on the bench and put a printed spec report in the customer’s hand with the repair note.
- Specs, serials and BIOS details to hand
- Quote RAM and SSD upgrades with certainty
- Catch failing drives and errors from the system log
Onsite & field engineers
Arrive with one USB stick and leave with a full report — nothing installed on the customer’s machine and nothing left behind.
- Runs from the stick — no installer, no cleanup
- Windows or Linux from the same drive
- Hand the PDF over on site, or email it before you leave
Corporate IT & MSPs
Audit workstation after workstation on one licence, and build a hardware, software and firmware picture across the estate.
- One stick on machine after machine
- Serials, specs and installed software for asset records
- Print, file, or attach each report to a ticket
Make every machine easier to explain, quote and record
Hand over a clean, printed A4 report that lists exactly what is inside the machine — processor, memory, graphics, storage, motherboard, the operating system, the software installed, and even recent problems from the system log. No jargon-dump, no screenshots of a dozen utility windows: just one tidy report that makes you look professional, whether it’s going to a customer, a site contact, or into your own asset records.
Plug in, run the launcher, hand over the PDF
The same three steps on a repair bench, a customer’s site, or the third desk in a row you’re working through this morning.
Portable — no install, nothing left behind
PCAudit runs entirely from the USB stick. Plug it in and run the matching launcher: Run-Windows.bat on Windows or ./Run-Linux.sh on Linux. A bundled Python runtime is included, so it works even on a machine with no Python installed — and it leaves nothing on the PC you audit.
- No installation on the machine you audit
- No permission headaches
- One stick works on Windows or Linux
Send the spec report straight to the customer
Get the report off the machine however suits you. Use the built-in SMTP option to attach and send the PDF automatically through your own mailbox — enter your server details once, and a Test button confirms they work. Or simply save the PDF and open your usual email program to attach it yourself.
- SMTP: PDF attached and sent automatically
- Or save the PDF and use your local mail client
- Branded output you hand over, file, or attach to a job ticket
A complete picture of any machine
Everything is read locally and needs no installation. One licence covers the same USB stick on a Windows PC or a Linux PC — audit one machine or a whole room of them.
Why it earns its place on the bench
| PCAudit | Built-in tools & guesswork | |
|---|---|---|
| Output | One branded A4 PDF spec report | Screenshots and copy-paste |
| Install | Runs off a USB stick — nothing installed | Digging through several utilities per machine |
| RAM upgrades | Exact per-slot layout, part numbers & serials | You have to open the case or guess |
| Multiple workstations | One stick and one licence — machine after machine | Per-machine installs and per-seat licences |
| Asset records | Serials, specs and software lists you can file | Retyped by hand into a spreadsheet |
| Problems | Recent system-log errors surfaced for you | Easy to miss until the customer is back |
| Privacy | Read-only — nothing sent unless you email | Varies, and it’s hard to reassure a customer |
| Platforms | Windows & Linux from one stick | Usually Windows-only tools |
| Licence | One licence, Windows & Linux | Per-machine or per-seat licences |
Before you buy
Do I need to install anything on the machine I audit?
No. PCAudit is shipped to you preloaded on a USB flash drive and runs entirely from it. Plug the drive in and run the matching launcher — Run-Windows.bat on Windows, or ./Run-Linux.sh on Linux. Nothing is installed on the machine you audit and nothing is left behind. There is no download version. That is what makes it safe to run on a customer’s PC or a colleague’s workstation.
Does one licence really work on both Windows and Linux?
Yes. This is one licence that covers both platforms, and one USB flash drive with the software on it. The licence is tied to the USB drive, so it follows the stick — you can run the same drive on a Windows PC or a Linux PC.
Can I use it on lots of machines — a whole office, or site after site?
Yes. Because nothing is installed and the licence travels on the USB drive, you can audit as many machines as you like with the one licence: a bench full of repairs, a day of onsite call-outs, or every workstation in a department. Each audit produces its own A4 PDF report, so you finish with one report per machine to hand over, file, or attach to a ticket.
Is there a free trial?
PCAudit includes a 30-day free trial, so you can try it on your own machines before you commit. Because it is a physical product that ships to you, please note the refund policy: you can request a refund within 30 days before the licence is activated — once the licence is activated, or it has been 30 days since delivery, it cannot be returned.
Does it send my customer’s data anywhere?
No. PCAudit only reads system information on the PC being audited. It never sends anything anywhere unless you choose to email the report. That makes it clean and reassuring to run — on a customer’s machine, or on someone else’s desk in the office.
How do I get the report off the machine?
However suits you. Save the PDF, print it, use the built-in SMTP option to attach and send it automatically through your own mailbox, or save it and open your local email program to attach it yourself.
How do updates work?
Updates to the version you purchase are included. When you upgrade to the next version, current licence holders get a discount on the upgrade.
Look the part on every machine you touch.
Stop photographing screens and writing specs on a job sheet by hand. Whether it’s one repair on the bench, a customer’s site, or a room full of workstations, PCAudit gives every machine a clean, professional A4 spec report — from one USB drive that works with both Windows and Linux.
