What the report contains
A PCAudit report is a single A4 PDF that lists everything worth knowing about a machine in one place. The processor — model, physical and logical cores, clock speed and load. Memory — total, used and available, plus a per-slot table showing slot, manufacturer, DDR type, speed, capacity and part number, so you can quote an upgrade precisely. The motherboard and BIOS — make, model, revision, BIOS vendor, version and date. Graphics — GPU name, VRAM and driver version. Storage and partitions — physical drives with model, serial, interface and size, and logical partitions with letter, type, size and free space. Installed software with versions. And recent entries from the system log, flagged where they suggest a problem worth investigating.

How it works
PC Audit runs entirely from the USB stick. Plug it in and run the matching launcher — Run-Windows.bat on Windows, or ./Run-Linux.sh on Linux. A bundled Python runtime is included, so it works even on a machine with no Python installed. Nothing is installed on the PC you audit, and nothing is left behind when you pull the stick out.
The report can be saved as a PDF and opened in your usual email program to attach, or sent directly through the built-in SMTP option — enter your server details once, use the Test button to confirm they work, and the PDF is attached and sent automatically.
