Reading the report — what matters for a repair shop
The processor line tells you the model, the number of physical and logical cores, the clock speed and the current load. That is the headline spec — the number the customer usually wants to know, and the number you need before you quote a processor upgrade or explain why a machine is slow.
The memory section is where PC Audit earns its keep for a repair shop. It lists total, used and available memory, and then gives you a per-slot table — slot number, manufacturer, DDR type, speed, capacity and part number for each stick. That is the information you need to quote a RAM upgrade precisely. You can tell a customer exactly which stick to buy, in what capacity, without guessing or opening the case to read labels off existing modules.
The storage section lists physical drives — model, serial, interface and size — and logical partitions with drive letter, type, size and free space.
